In the 2000s, lawyer-mediator H\u00e9l\u00e8ne (Sioui) Trudel enhanced this model by developing tools to promote access to justice and respect for all children&#8217;s rights as set out in the <em>Convention on the Rights of the Child<\/em>. To achieve this, the model relies on the genuine participation of children and their families, as well as on conflict prevention and resolution methods. Since then, this model of integrated social medicine has become increasingly popular with communities and professionals working with children experiencing difficulties. It offers tools through training courses designed for anyone interested in integrating the principles and knowledge of Community Social Pediatrics into their professional or personal lives, in Quebec and elsewhere in the world. This model of integrated social medicine aims to care for, accompany and empower children in vulnerable situations, by preventing and countering the impact of toxic stresses on their overall health,
