Parler aux enfants, je le fais chaque jour. Cela fait partie de mon travail et de mon plaisir. Porter la parole des enfants, c’est la r\u00e9alisation d’un des droits de tout enfant, celui d’\u00eatre \u00e9cout\u00e9 et respect\u00e9. \u00c9crire pour les enfants, cela ne m’\u00e9tait pas encore pass\u00e9 par la t\u00eate, jusqu’\u00e0 ce que l’on me le demande un soir entre No\u00ebl et le jour de l’An 2013. Deux fillettes sont venues me rencontrer. \u00ab Gilles, m’a dit l’a\u00een\u00e9e, tu \u00e9cris des livres sur les enfants pour les adultes, mais pourquoi n’\u00e9cris-tu pas un livre pour les enfants ? Nous aussi on aimerait savoir ce que tu penses de nous, comprendre pourquoi tu travailles avec les enfants. \u00bb Voici donc un premier essai qui s’adresse \u00e0 vous, les enfants du monde. Peut-\u00eatre qu’il vous permettra d’expliquer mieux que moi aux adultes ce que je fais pour vous, et pourquoi je le ferai toujours tant que j’en serai capable.
