She also collaborates with the Dr. Julien\/Marcelle and Jean Coutu Foundation Chair in Community Social Pediatrics. She holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies in Psychology and Psychiatry from the University of British Columbia in addition to her training in clinical psychology.<\/p><p><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.2px;\">Her research focuses on the consequences of growing up in an unpropitious environment, in particular negative childhood experiences, on brain development, on personality and behaviour, as well as on the risk of developing addictions and risk-taking behaviours in adolescents. Her research contributes to the design and implementation of specific intervention programs for at-risk children and adolescents.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6c8ec48b elementor-widget elementor-widget-video\"
