This workshop, presented by Josiane Robertson, Director of Centre Mihawoso de Manawan, and her team, aims to present the experiences of summer 2023, when two day camps were organized for different age groups. One took place on the territory, and the other at the Mihawoso Center with weekly outings. The territory, also known as Notcimik, is an ancestral place linked to nature, natural elements, spirituality, physical and mental aspects, and emotions. The young participants discover how these aspects are integrated into their daily lives, boosting their self-esteem, and helping them to better express themselves emotionally, tame their environment, develop their skills, and reinforce their mental strength.
