Residents, Medical Externs and clinical intervention trainees

CSPI offers a training program specifically designed for residents, medical externs and clinical intervention trainees. Aimed at deepening your understanding of the various themes specific to CSP, this program offers online training modules to complement and enrich your CSP internship experience.

Designed to meet the specific needs of the different specialties involved in CSP, our training program for residents, medical externs and clinical intervention trainees is divided into two distinct components.

The short training program has been designed to accompany and support residents and medical externs who specialize in one of the following disciplines and wish to complete a CSP internship:

  • Family practice
  • Pediatrics
  • Public health

Long Program (for clinical intervention trainees)

This program can be spread over one or two academic terms, depending on the requirements of the student’s training program.

Introductory Program

Both programs (short and long) comprise three components:

  1. An Introductory Program
  2. A Guided Reflection Program (In French only)
  3. An advanced program

Introductory Program

This program is the starting point for any practice in CSP. Its objective is to ensure that all professionals working in the CSP network have a common understanding of the approach.

Trainees must complete the introductory program before accessing the other training programs.

Guided Reflection Program

The Guided Reflection Program has been designed specifically for residents, medical externs and clinical intervention trainees. It is intended to enable you to make links between your academic and professional pathways, and the approach advocated in CSP.

This program is guided by observation activities and readings that will serve as a reference point throughout your internship.

Advanced program

It is intended to enable you to make links between your academic and professional pathways, and the approach advocated in CSP.
