The CSPI participates in the development, support and dissemination of research that adds value to Community Social Pediatrics (CSP). It carries out consulting mandates for CSPCs and the clinical management of the FDJ. Mobilized in the development of a movement of researchers and students committed to CSP, and with a research posture rooted in the values of the approach, The CSPI builds bridges between the university research community and the clinical teams of the CSPCs.
Dans le but de desservir 20 000 enfants en situation de vulnérabilité et leurs familles d’ici 2021, la Fondation Dr julien développe et soutient les initiatives de pédiatrie sociale sur l’ensemble du territoire québécois.
The research presented in this report was carried out in order to support Fondation du Dr Julien in its process of identifying communities most at risk for social and economic poverty. The socioeconomic risk indices created by this research are meant to serve as tools to aid the decision-making of the Fondation’s coordination committee, which is responsible for identifying Québec communities for the future implementation of community social pediatric centres. These socioeconomic risk indices will complement other aspects used by the committee, including community mobilization and identification of leaders, available resources, and consistency in existing services.
Le rapport final a été déposé au début de l’année 2017 et fait état de toutes les analyses réalisées dans le cadre du projet, ainsi que des recommandations quant aux communautés qui devraient être ciblées. Il est accompagné de la cartographie de l’ensemble du territoire québécois.
