Giving children a voice: how can we give children a role in defining public policy?
Speakers: Franco Carnevale, Dr. Gilles Julien et Hélène (Sioui) Trudel
Children do not vote. It is therefore vital that we give them the opportunity to have their voices heard in order to influence public policy. This session will create a rich discussion between a group of children, a social pediatrician, an expert in pediatric ethic, and a legal consultant. Michel Venne, Director of the Institut du Nouveau Monde, will facilitate the discussion and help to establish a concrete action plan.
